MVSRA client soccer Head Coaches, Athletic Directors, and MVSRA top-grade officials are invited for an evening of pizza and open discussion. Some topics of interest that will be discussed include 2018-18 NFHS Soccer Rule Changes, MVSRA/Client Game-Site Protocol, and Scheduling: How We Can Work Together.

(Optional)
12 Minute Run, 200 M Run, & 50 M Sprint. This optional fitness test is encouraged for referees ranked 1 - 3. Any other referee is also welcome to participate. Fitness results will be used as another criterion for Varsity game assignments. Please arrive early, warmed up, and stretched because testing will begin as close to the listed start time as possible. This test is required for re-certification of USSF Grades 7, 6, & 5.

Soccer Referee 101 Clinic

Mandatory for new referees, optional for others. This clinic is required for all new referees. Others may choose to attend and contribute in order to supplement required training hours. This clinic covers the basics of high school soccer refereeing and prepares new officials to take the field.

OAOA OCEP Principles Clinic

Principles of Officiating OCEP course. First year officials shall complete this clinic within their first three years of officiating. This requirement does not apply to officials certified by the OSAA in 2005-06 or prior; or any transfer official previously licensed or certified by a State High School governing body. This is a one-time only requirement for officials.

Requirements

All MVSRA officials must attend either six regular meetings or complete 10 hours of MVSRA approved training.

Attendance

Attendance of meetings is mandatory unless otherwise noted.

To be excused from a meeting, you must notify the MVSRA Secretary at least 72 hours before the scheduled meeting. In the event of an emergency, call the Commissioner no later than 4:00pm on the day of the meeting.

Unexcused absences affect referee assignments; members may lose all, some, or none of their assignments, even if assignments(s) have been "accepted" on the website.
