About the MVSRA

The Mid-Valley Soccer Referees Association Inc. (MVSRA) is a non-profit organization that has been providing highly trained soccer referees for 34 years. The MVSRA is registered with the State of Oregon as a domestic, not-for-profit, corporation, mutual benefit with members (OR Reg #314993-95, TIN #93-1020961)

History

The MVSRA was chartered by the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) in February of 1990, and began total independent operations for the fall 1990-91 season. Previously, the MVSRA was a "satellite" of the Salem Soccer Referees Association (SSRA).

Referee Services

The MVSRA services clients associated with many different organizations including OSAA under NFHS for state high school matches, Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA) for club matches, and others. The MVSRA prides itself on providing highly trained soccer referees for its clients. About 95% of contests are serviced with three referees using the Diagonal System of Control (Referee with two Assistant Referees.)
